Testimonials

The following is a small selection of the numerous unsolicited testimonials Murray has received:

"For over ten years, Murray has regularly treated our son William, 22, who has special needs on the pragmatic semantic disorder spectrum. William has gained a great deal of assistance and reassurance from Murray, who has proved exceptionally helpful in calming William and supporting us over the years.

Murray has always been especially helpful and considerate in his treatments and extremely thoughtful and sensitive in his approach. His preparation and aftercare have always been meticulous and well thought through. He is punctual, courteous, unhurried and tailors his approach to William's continuing needs.

We highly recommend Murray Cole as an excellent cranial osteopath and someone who is totally trustworthy and dependable."

'CRANIAL OSTEOPATHY IS RESTORING MY LIFE'
"The circumstances were dire when I first met Murray. I had suffered a very heavy fall where I hit my forehead and both knees very hard. My knees swelled to the size of melons and I had a big bump on my head.

I was in a lot of pain, feeling ghastly, but thought I'd recover quickly. Three days later I was much worse - my knees were too swollen for me to drive and on being taken to the hospital I discovered I had cracked one knee and had deep tissue damage to both. Weeks later, the pain had crept down my ankles and up my back; walking and sitting were painful, getting in and out of the bath virtually impossible and it was increasingly difficult to drive.

A friend who had consulted Murray over several years for various sports bumps and knocks and stress suggested I pay him a visit.

After several visits to Murray I am walking upright again! Years ago I suffered a broken pelvis in a riding accident and Murray has been treating the knock-on effects of that injury too, with remarkable results.

I've discovered that Murray's patients range from tiny babies to the very elderly. I've spoken to the babies' mothers, small children and to several of Murray's adult patients, all of whom are appreciative and full of praise for the help they are receiving - in some cases for problems for which they thought there was no relief.

I was fairly sceptical before but am now completely convinced that cranial osteopathy works and am staggered by the gentleness of this powerful treatment."
Mrs P Glynn-Jones (abridged editorial from a local newspaper)

Note from a Grateful Patient, aged 83
"I first consulted you in 1999 for help over a severely damaged shoulder caused by a bad fall, with severe bruising, pain and inflammation which had been made worse by incorrect physiotherapy. In a matter of weeks (not months) you had cured this completely and I could hardly believe the relief.

I then asked whether you could help me with two very arthritic knees which were increasing in pain and stiffness. After studying the x-rays you advised me that you considered knee replacements were necessary. You managed to keep me mobile and relatively comfortable for two years until I had the very successful surgery at the age of 77 in 2001. Your subsequent treatment certainly speeded my full recovery.

In May 2007, my hands became painful and swollen; I was in great pain and almost crippled with polymyalgia rheumatica. During this awful period, with your skilled help I was able to keep going, and on my doctor's advice you are still helping to hasten my recovery.

I really cannot adequately express my gratitude to you for all your skill and help, without which I am sure I might well be housebound."

"Our son was a perfectly healthy baby until he suffered brain damage at the age of eighteen months. He was diagnosed as autistic a year later, with a chronic gut disorder and severe learning difficulties.

We had the good fortune to be introduced to Murray Cole over ten years ago and we haven't looked back since. Cranial osteopathy has proved essential in the recovery and co-ordination of our son's limb and joint movement, restoring function of and repairing his damaged digestive tract and gut. Murray has given us hope with his great success in managing this difficult and complex condition - our son's progress has been astonishing. He has gone from strength to strength and become more mobile.

Murray has been and remains crucial to the development of our son, fine-tuning and adjusting the treatments to accommodate growth spurts and minimise the hyper-anxious state which underpins his disability. A staggering range of ailments escalate his condition: head activity, head sensitivity, acute sensory disturbances (over-exaggerated hearing, visual distortion, sensitivity to smell, touch and taste), severe allergies to environmental pollutants (pollen in particular), prickly heat, etc. Despite this being such a debilitating condition, our son is physically very healthy and rarely needs to visit the GP - a state of being we attribute to the skill and expertise of Murray.

The adverse effects of personal injury, whether from the accident-prone state that comes from an unawareness of danger, self-harm, destructive behaviour, persistent 'isms' and any number of traits associated with this condition are also managed or minimised as a result of the treatments Murray gives. As our son does not voluntarily communicate, he cannot tell us when and where he is suffering pain, but we are greatly reassured to know that Murray does this with such accuracy on his behalf.

Our daughter has also benefited enormously from cranial osteopathy with Murray for a sports injury which threatened her future mobility but is now just a distant memory.

We are constantly amazed by the extent and effect that cranial osteopathy has on our health and wellbeing. We regard cranial osteopathy to be a very effective gentle approach, ensuring the best possible existence for all the family."
